Week 8: Averages update only

Only Averages are updated this week. Due to the adverse weather conditions last week, nearly every game was postponed: in consequence there is no report this week or amendments to the Results, Tables and Press.The League have decided to let the Season run on for a further week at the end of the season, to aid the playing of postponed matches, but we hope Captains will try to catch up as soon as possible.

2011 Southend Closed Championships

Entry Forms for 2011 Closed Championships now available on SDTTL website.

Closing Date of Entry is Friday 21st January 2011. It may not be possible to accept Late Entries due to the time required to schedule the Program of Events

Qualification: 3 matches have to be played by the closing date for the entry. Only Juniors that have played the 3 qualifying matches in their respective divisions are eligible to enter in this Tournament.

Entry Fees: £13.00 for Adults and £6.50 for U18's (This fee covers all events entered)

"Taster Day" for Table Tennis at the Greensward Academy, Hockley

Trevor Vincent of the Hockley Table Tennis Club is arranging a "Taster Day" for Table Tennis @ the Greensward Academy, Hockley" on Sunday - 12h December, in conjunction with the Sports Director of the Academy.

 

Trevor has formed the Hockley Table Tennis Club over the past 2 years and they now have 3 teams playing in the Southend League.

 

This possibility is very interesting and could see a further Multi Table venue, which would be good for local Table Tennis.

 

Trevor welcomes all players or potential players in the area, to pop in and have a knock on Sunday.
